Would you like to know why the Dalai Lama always smiles? Discover how he
and a million Buddhists around the world utilize the Buddhist distinctive
philosophy and practice to achieve peacefulness and happiness in daily life.
Explore the establishment of Buddhism, its core teachings, and its approach
in solving fundamental problems of human life. (Internet access required.)
INSTRUCTOR: Reverend Thich Hand Dat, MA, runs two Buddhist
centers. He has been a guest lecturer at many universities, churches, and
schools across the U.S.

Meditation 101:
Learn the theories behind and
practice of various meditation techniques for health, personal insight,
spiritual growth, mindfulness and mental clarity and personal insight.
Taught by a Vietnamese Zen teacher, Meditation 101 is an informative course,
and it provides students with the tools necessary to begin their own
meditation practice. A yoga or meditation mat is suggested.
